Safari browser difficulties
Recently, we have been experiencing numerous problems with video playback in Safari. Unfortunately, they are not solved by other updates either, so we recommend using a different browser, e.g. Google Chrome, for truly trouble-free video transmission.
But if you don't have the option to install another browser, there are 2 ways to play the video in the Safari browser as well.
- Use an alternative player - you can change the player in the left part of the broadcast window or in the account settings.
- Turn off one of the experimental functions of the Safari browser. We will explain how to do it:
Desktop version of Safari browser:
- In the bar located at the top of the screen, click the Developer button.
- Select the Experimental function option from the menu - move the cursor to it.
- By moving the cursor to Experimental functions, you will see another menu on the right, and there you must find the item NSURLSession WebSocket. Click on this item to remove the whistle (the item must remain unchecked).
Mobile version of Safari browser:
- In the settings of your iPhone, find the Safari application.
- After clicking on the Safari application, scroll to the bottom of the screen and click on the Advanced button.
- Select the Experimental features button from the menu under Advanced.
- Then find the NSURLSession WebSocket item and turn it off.
Disabling this item should help resolve video playback issues.
